Another boss bites the dust as Amicita Cavus marches through the Ice Crown Citadel.

After many successful 10 man kills we took festergut down on 25 man. This kill is a great example of Amicita determination. The first few attempts showed we needed to make improvements. So we pulled together and served this guy his eviction notice. An excellent kill! Now on to Rotface!

At the time of this kill, Amicita Cavus is one of only 4 alliance guilds on Norgannon that has currently cleared all of the available icecrown content. This fight took some coordination and patience but we worked it out and prevailed in the end. We had made it into the 4-10% range several times but a few raid makeup changes and a little warlock/paladin trick pushed us over the top.

In case your guild is struggling, we found a soulstone from a lock on 2 paladins made it possible for them to use divine intervention on the first 2 raid members with the mark. This stops the damage they are taking which reduces some of the healing necessary as well as the healing of Saurfang by the mark. After the paladins die, they use their soulstones and get back to work. You then have 3 minutes until they start taking damage again.

Amicita not only made quick work of lady deathwhisper, but right afterwards one shotted the gunship battle! The experience from getting several groups through on 10 man really paid of when it came time to down it on 25 man mode. Great work!

She fought valiantly bought in the end was no match for Amicita. Now to finish the remaining 2!
